I hear you here Edgy and buying at these levels will reward you and others very well at some point but the opportunity cost of owning Noront over the last year has been huge. Many stocks have gone up 5-10 times in the last year while Noront is down 64%. Those who sold out of Noront right after the failed take over and invested well could possibly be in a position to buy anywhere from 5 to 25 times more Noront shares than they owned a year ago.

Alot of investors do not take opportunity costs seriously enough. I was as guilty as any of being too emotionally attached to Noront at one point. However, breaking that emotional bond was the best thing I ever did for my portfolio. Selling now, with Noront at a very low point is most likely a mistake, however, for those that feel trapped, I suggest you look for some easy exit point for small portions of your money and try other opportunities, you may find it very liberating.

I still like the Noront story very much, it is still listed as one of my favorite hubs. I read this board on occasion and discuss the company with people I trust. I want to know what is going on with it as I still believe there will be a time to make good money with it at some point. The timing of that point may be very difficult to judge but I would rather be a little late for this party then miss some of the other opportunities out there that are moving or have more possibilities of moving sooner than Noront.

Cheers,

Glorieux
