Cappysmart is correct in redirecting the posts to something more productive.

Indeed, Peter Smith continues to insist that all that counts is finding the ore. That is what the SP is about. The purist in me wants to say the same thing too. You can imagine my grin when Wes said the same thing, and redirected my conversation from salary to maps. I like Wes, I think he will eventually prove up the ore. US bank execs say that in order to move in the swank crowd one must possess a salary that shows you belong. Casino Royal tuxedo scene said the same thing.

In many respects finding the ore for an exploration company is the best way of supporting an SP. However, making the SP reflect the known ore seems to be a separate matter, judging by Fancamp's SP and their CHM percentage/Magpie/Argex. I'm really not sure where Noront should be. A feasibility study with known ore including a slurry pipeline would breakdown to what sort of SP? Anyone know?

I had a conversation with an investor looking to place 200thou. The conversation was about buying CHM or FNC. I mentioned, why Noront at the current SP level -seems a steal. His response, and perhaps what spurred my renewed disgust for overcompensated CEOs and the mentality behind it, was "1 million salary? Think I'd invest in that?" I told him, you haven't researched enough about Noront to dismiss it. His response was simply, "1 million dollars. Come on." Like, need I say more. This is an elephant in the room that will continue to be embarrassing.

After he said that, it occurred to me that sustained long-term SP growth depends on investor trust as well as ore discovery. A jnr needs volume movement for SP shift. But without trust, there is less demand, and the SP decreases. Without volume movement the large shareholders can't realize profit. Imagine if Noront's Volume diminished to 20thou a day. How happy would the large shareholders be with Wes?

At the next conference walk around, as I recently did, and mention to various CEO's at their booths that Wes gave himself a 1 million dollar salary. The responses I received were variations of "that's not right. that's unethical. that is robbery from shareholders." Only one said, "It happens." and he was from Xstrata. Go ahead make a phone call or two to get the opinion of similarly market cap companies. See what that CEO's response is.

Embarrassing.

Again, if today at .92c, Wes announced a 1 million dollar bonus or salary, would you still apathetically think the subject should be ignored? If not, then this subject is absolutely not a dead horse.
