Diagnos is a company essentially made up of a bunch of mathematicians, probability experts, and computer scientists. What they do is look at existing data that a company has data such as geophysics, geochemistry, drilling, etc and run it through their software they allow the computer program to pick up any patterns by doing so they come up with things that are less biased than the interpretation of a human. For example a geophysicist will look at a magnetic map and put directional filters on it the directional filters are essentially a bias because the person is assuming the geometry of the deposit is a such. With the guys at Diagnos their software would take the same map and run it through countless different things and see if a pattern emerges naturally just out of raw data. A lot of my friends in the industry have used such analysis and some have actually gotten some tremendous results. I guess the main problem with these guys is the price its very expensive
