All my life I have thought that Ontario was "missing the boat" (pun intended) by not having a sea water port on James/Hudson Bay. If the Ontario powers that be are not willing to show imagination and foresight in this area, we deserve to lose the Northland, our ticket to a rosy future for our posterity, and it could happen. Speak of the First Nations -- ALL the people of Northern Ontario will rebel if the current benign neglect continues on and on and on.

This fellow from North Bay is tapping into a deep well of discontent. If he gets elected and follows through in this vein at Queen's Park, he will have many rapt listeners. There are massive problems to be solved in the North -- bringing First Nations up to a civilized level, sorting out the land usage dilemma betwixt miners, foresters and ecologists, and on and on. Waiting untill problems solve themselves or blow up no longer cuts it.

As a Noront shareholder, naturally I am pinning my hopes on our Company's success. I happen to think this can best be realized in the context of a growing and progressive Northern Ontario community.
