Message: blockade against explorers or Gov't??

And so the saga continues.

As a longtime NOT holder, I have to admire the intestinal fortitude of many who have held this stock for as long as many here have. Small wonder of the occasional outburst that F_S used to blow off a bit of steam. And now on top of all else, we are looking another blockade in the face, with the resultant loss of another exploration season.

However, with the above having been said, is there anything we, as shareholders, or the company as a whole could be doing to prevent this action now, or in the future.

If we look a bit further behind the public statements and consider the facts, rather than basing judgement on the public statements, we may come to a different opinion. Consider that during the summer of 2009, there was considerable co-operation between local FN communities. Webequie was handling most logistics for the area, and Marten Falls was totally involved with building the airstrip, with assistance from all involved companies(FWR SPQ KWG NOT). Everyone was benefitting.

Suddenly the first plane landed on the runway, photographed the event, and the appropriate gov't authorities shut it down. The blockade last winter was spearheaded mainly by Marten Falls Band in protest over the consequent loss of benefits from the area. There has also been considerable consolidation in the area under CLF's wing, and there has been little if any effort put forth from them towards involving local FN people.

The present threat of blockade appears aimed to a large extent at CLF/KWG, and the Ontario gov't rather than NOT, and as with last winter, there is little NOT will be able to do to alleviate the situation. This , however, may play into NOT's strategy quite well. If NOT has been in discussions regarding a large financing, or even a takeout, which appears to maybe have been rejected, it would be in their best interest to slow play things for a bit to wait out infrastructure committments before making the next surge in exploration. Possibly they foresaw this blockade possibility also, and understood that they could handle the logistics of two smaller drills even if the larger strips were closed.

At any rate the next move has to come from the Ontario gov't, same as before, and if the FN powers can force this sooner than later, they have my support at this time. Hell, they probably will get NOT BOD support also, although not publicly.

Best regards

K
