I think you are missing the point. Natives ARE on side as far as development of the region. No need to hand over any shares, as if we need more dillution. What they are mostly about is that they want development BUT IT IS OCCURING TOO SLOW ( forgive the emphasis ). Government lethargy is one of the main stumbling blocks. Martens Falls thought that they could force the issue and get away with it by building the air strip. They got cought, so they resort to plan B - Blockades and politics through the media. I'm in southern Ontario but sympathise with them all the same.
