Using this standard method for valuing options, and applying that to Noront's warrants I would need to assume the following to get close to the $.50 mark.

Warrant strike price $4.00,
Current stock value $.98
100% volitility
6% interest rate
1300 days to expiry

the model would calculate the current value of the warrant at $.42 .
