I wonder. The 9,9 % Baosteel foot put on Noront's tail may have cooled the market a bit. When retail see the word 'standstill' in a news release, he usually thinks 'negative'. Price appreciation may now only come from the drill expectations - or actual results, and not from takeover bid rumours.
I do not think Noront to be at this time a plain take-over target. But the market (usually short-sighted) tends to run off wihen that thinking is in mind and a standstill provision is working. Almost all of us on this board are long holders, so this is not much of a concern. But this may well explain the SP deflation after the Bao news booster!
