For those who speak to Wes regularly, please consider:
Baosteel entering Noront makes one think of takeover or multiple bids between Cliffs and Baosteel for chromite or nickel. I think chromite is the objective and nickel is the iceing. But waiting for a takeover, limits us to less multiples then desired. It is also a distraction -until it happens.
We need to find more massive Ni sulphides apart from E-nest. Everything else is a distraction. For example, one might feel this is relevent:
"What is his opinion of a Chinese company owning 10% of Noront and why was it avoided in the interview? Does he feel Baosteel will follow Cliffs pattern with FWR, and take over Noront? Does this threaten his intent to bring Noront into production, negating the utility of his background knowledge?"
But I feel this is a distraction to what Noront can control in order to raise the the SP -INCREASE THE ORE. The following questions should be the focus of our due dilligence:
1) Where is Wes drilling now? 2) How many drills do we have. 3) What targets and at what depth? 4) Can Wes give us an indication of the signatures? 5) How many assays have been sent and when are they expected back. 6) What is exciting him. Where will it lead the drills? 7) As I pointed in the Conversation post, Smith has a theory of why he thinks the ore is under NOT AT1, will this be investigated. Obviously Smith isn't privy to Wes' data, however Smith is guiding a drill with it and some whisper he found something and is waiting for assays. Can anyone ask Wes' opinion of AT1? What have downhole geophysics revealed? Is it too deep?

8) Can Baosteel bring additional expertise to drilling, what is it? Can the board member bring additional resources? What resources? 9) Now that Baosteel has a piece of Noront, how much influence do they have over NOT drill decisions? Will they push you to prioritize chromite or nickel, or both concurrently?
Find the ore, increase the SP
