The last thing I want is to defend the management BUT:
Their primary responsibility is not to please the shareholders, even though we would like it to be so.
Their primary function is to develop the company from explorer to producer in the most efficient manner that they are capable. Should they not be efficient enough, then is the time to turf one or more of them out. ( How many of you were present at an AGM or voted to turf someone out? Admit that we have been negligent on that front also.)
We should understand that the company share price will fluctuate with time and is on occasion subject to attack on all fronts. We as shareholders should be aware and educated ( i.e. patient and understanding enough ) to know that these things happen and that we usually have no control over. Nor, as often happens, does the management.
I am displeased with the lack of information from the management and that too often if information is given it is much delayed as now about winter drilling. Shame on them.
Next that I am displeased is if they are not making good progress on managing or the advancement of share price then they are not entitled to fringe benefits such as options. Double shame.
Shame on us for leaving the door open for them to feed at the trough.
Just expressing opinions due to also being a bit frustrated.
Not all as patient as I often say or would have you. Ed.
