Message: I should have highlighted this sentence.

In today's Toronto Star article, did you notice the words

as "Ontario begins to develop the Ring of Fire."

"Horwath said the time to secure mining and resource jobs is now as Ontario begins to develop the Ring of Fire, a $30 billion chromite deposit nearly 500 kilometres northeast of Thunder Bay."

So, Ontario has BEGUN to develop the Ring of Fire?

The sentence did not say mining compan(ies ) have begun ...it said ONTARIO.

So, the government has begun to develop the Ring of Fire.

Nice to know.

A nice thanks for the information, Andrea Horwath, and thanks also to the Toronto Star for reporting it.

Michael Gravelle stated over and over again that if the GOV'T was going to sink in money for infrastructure that the processing would be in Ontario.

So I assume since ONTARIO has BEGUN to develop the Ring of Fire, a deal has been made. Cliffs will shortly announce the Ontario location of the smelter and the gov't will announce where the investment will be made as a result of securing this smelter locally.

All great news for the Ring of Fire.
