'kick to the share price till after the elections are done. Once the election is done, whoever wins, I think a key plank in their first 100 days will be the RoF and they will want to move on this asap. Once there is a firm announcement by the province, then watch the ball start rolling and gathering speed. Until we have elected officials, I think we go nowhere. Again, hope I am wrong but in the end, I think we are only a few months away from lighting this powder keg.'

it's too bad that politicians only think about elections or in 3 to 4 year plans. shows all parties are not interested in long term growth for the country or province.

it's as if they expect to lose(if they're in power) so why put out an intensive long range plan. and if they're not in power, why put out a 20 year option.

if an elected member or a prospective member shows up to canvass at my door, i will ask one question only, 'what is your party's long range plan for the ring of fire?". if there is a 'what's that or a huh?', then i don't want that person representing me.

the minerals are in the ground with more to be found so someone has to step up to the plate with a comprehensive long range plan for the rof, whether that party is in power now or not.

cheers

terry fallis has writtem 2 books, 'the best laid plans' and its sequel, 'the high road'. both should be mandatory for all elected officials and prospective ones. they are short funny easy reads.
