Ingrid, this is great news. And a big win for Noront. It confirms Noront's leader position in the ROF and also with the First Nations people in the ROF area.
So, will Cliffs now have to partner with or take out NOT if they want control of the corridor ? Or will they themselves be taken out and the bigger player becomes involved with NOT ?
Wasn't there a rumor about Rio Tonto making a bid for Cliffs ? And wasn't it rumored that Noront had someone else at the negotiating table until the AT12 results came out ? Yes, to both of those.
Lots of positioning going on as we approach this very important provincial election in Ontario. When the enumerators come to my door, I'll be telling them the same thing - I'll vote for the party that best benefits the Ring Of Fire development.
