Maybe someone more knowlegeable about mining costs could weigh in, but I thought Noront's costs to extract high grade chromite will be mitigated by the plan to sink a shaft between eagle's nest and Blackbird, allowing them to cut a drift to Blackbird and selectively mine the best chromite that could be direct shipped.
