Message: KI First Nation versus the Mining Industry –The Sequel

There is another conflict brewing between KI and a junior miner:

Once the Toronto media and the environmental movements hear about it, prepare yourself. “If it bleeds, it leads!”

Even though there are almost 200 agreements across the country between First Nations communities and junior and senior miners. Almost 90 of those agreements are in Northern Ontario.

When will the junior sector ever learn? Consult, consult, consult! If Aboriginal communities are not on side, than don’t go into their traditional territory. Have we learned nothing from the KI – Platinex conflict in the previous decade?
