I like what I see here.

Please click on the link below.

On the Gov't of Ontario Website under Northern Economy, you will see mining and the Ring of Fire has a separate tab.

No other mining project has been highlighted like this.

Notice the "exploration AND investment will be in cooperation with our First Nation PARTNERS.

Exploration spending in Ontario during 2010 reached record levels and early indications suggest that Ontario is on track to reach new highs in 2011 as well. In 2010, Ontario was 4th in the world for exploration spending by the private sector — even when ranked against entire countries.

We’re going to build on this success, particularly in the region known as the Ring of Fire.

The McFaulds Lake project, or Ring of Fire, is one of the most promising development opportunities in Northern Ontario in a century.

Key facts:

Lake Superior

  • The region contains one of the largest chromite deposits in the world — a key ingredient in stainless steel.
  • Developing the region is part of our government’s plan to help build a strong economy and create jobs in the North.
  • Exploration and investment will be in cooperation with our First Nations partners.
  • We hired a Ring of Fire Coordinator to make sure we’re advancing economic development in this area together.

We’ve committed to a new project-based skills training program to help Aboriginal Peoples and Northern Ontarians participate and benefit from these emerging economic development opportunities.
