Everyone puts too much emphasis on this 'legality' part of the equation."Withholding" information would only be illegal if there was some damage occurring as a result of it. If it is withheld in order to properly disseminate at an opportune time and done with no leaks, it would be hard for anyone to prove damage as a result of timing. What we, as shareholders see as appropriate timing, has little bearing on the big picture.
Wes, and the BOD have previously stated there will be no visuals or part program news. They will report only when a drill program is complete and all assays available. They also have been very successful in preventing any leaks, or at least shutting them down when they do seem to occur.
It amuses me at times, to read a poster complaining about not gettting regular updates from the company, and I remind myself;
This is the venture exchange. I am here because of the opportunity to increase my wealth. Usually, to do so, I must buy a company when no one else is buying, wait until others think the company has something worth chasing, and sell when all others are still hoping.
If all companies on this exchange were forced, legally or morally, to provide a true update on their progress once a week, or month, and be truthful about it, there would be little opportunity for us as shareholders and investors, to see any return on our investments.
We are fortunate to have a vehicle, such as this forum and others, where the collective thoughts of many can be stirred into a pot, and sometimes produce a better look at where we are going in the market, and get a head start, or a quicker exit. In this fashion we gain a bit of an edge on the general public.
On the flip side of this, we sometimes are exposed to really intelligent statements about the Flo thru PP going to managaement wages. Something about a bag of nails comes to mind.
