I do not understand some of the disappointed comments regarding this news release. There are good nickel concentrations and there are long intercepts also. The problem is that they do not coincide, we get one or the other and it is long intercepts WITH good quality that make a good core.
HOWEVER, these are single holes per each terget. Who is to say that each hole should be well placed on a first time drilled. I am well content that they made it with two out of the three drilled. That means that there are at least two additional locations for mineralization. A single hole per target does not define anything above that the
mineralization IS there and in some sections of the cores very good.
Hole 243 with one percent nickel and copper each, and also platinum with palladium at levels similar to Eagle's Nest, what more can I ask for? This is a near direct hit. I do not need higher quality just more holes like it.
Sorry Cupcake, but one good hole does not give much indication of what there may be. We need several more holes.
Hole NOT-11-1G243 0.31 meter intersection $ value per ton:
Nickel $211
Copper $84
Platinum $42
Palladium $107
Total $444
Hole 244 is only good for nickel, the other metals are just indicating a presence and a need for more drilling. I do not think this hole has hit the center of the minerals.
NOT-11-1G244 0.27 meter intersection:
Nickel $2085 !
Copper $1
Platinum $1
Palladium $1
Total $2085 (only nickel counts here)
Great but narrow intercepts, such grades must come from somewhere. They must exist with greater widths elsewhere. That is my assumption.
As per hole 245, it is a miss. I do not believe that a geophysical survey shows something that is not there. It only shows that we can not expect good aim with every drill hole.
Per Canseco & Sum, What I see is two potential mineral locations that could eventually be on the level of Eagle's Nest. That IS good news. Market? As I write there is no change from yesterday. The market is asleep for Noront shares. That is also good for me in a manner because I can scoop up some shares knowing that today is a better
future for Noront than it was yesterday.
Goldhunter11: Good commentary and what if hole 244 reached 255m and to continue further thay would cross into FNC territory? I do not have the map with hole locations available at the moment but it would be a good reason for them to stop drilling further.
No time from me on the chromite subject, so no comment. Ed.
