Been There,

I am trying to figure out the results using the NR values and the 2 maps posted by Notster. I have a few questions/observations to throw on the table for discussion

1. Let's assume that NOT has a willow branch to guide their sinking of the drill bits. The red blob (Ni deposit at Eagle 1) seems to correlate with the pink blobs (GB magnetic survey). So, the idea is to follow the pink blobs.

2. Drill holes 1G243 and 1G244: These 2 were aiming at FNC property (NW tip and SW tip from the same collar) and both holes hit ore at about 400m - 451m down hole for #243... and about 250m for #244. Question: Why #244 stop at 255.17m...is this because this is the end of this hole, or there is no ore beyond that to some 450m judging from the lengths drawn in the diagram for Eagle 1 area? Using a projection guess (60 degree collar angle is assumed to be measured from the horizontal...(I am no geo). That would bring some surface distance of the end of #243 at about 450m/2 = 225m from Eagle deposit (about the same as your 275m). I think NOT diagram is off. The end point of #243 should be moved west for it to sit just above the northern tip of FNC property (imagine FNC is a square boot facing west). This would fit in the theory "deposit located in the pink areas). There is a big pink blob around FNC tip, but NOT conveniently put the caption panel on top of it (to hide something?). Note, there was one short but good grade (1% Ni) @ 407m downhole.

For #244, as indicated the hit was at the 254-255m downhole (Question: As indicated, hole depth = 450m, but the rest beyond 255m contains no ore? If that were true then the hit would be at the bottom of Eagle 1 "panhandle" (the pink blob that looks just like Florida). But the diagram shows the end of the hole right at the tip of FNC boot? Again, there seems to be some inconsitency here.

It would seem that NRs are not always straight forward and one has to interpret the information. However, regarless of the accuracy, the results seem to provide a validation of the model that the deposits would be most likely in the pink blobs.

3. FNC Implication: We know that NOT will not promote FNC at least publicly, hence the results would just stop short at the boundary. However, as I recall, the ground magnetic survey was carried out beyond its own boundary into FNC property (some lame excuse about end effects of the magnetic results if the survey was truncated at the boundary...presumable they have share the pink blob results with FNC for allowing their survey crew to walk over FNC lands?).

There was some discussion by FNC about hitting something deep when they drill the C-1 area (the tip of the boot). Has the C-1 latest drill results all reported?

4. Second map for Blackbird Chromite posted by Notster: Noted the following:

- drill holes from the same collar near Eagle 1 (discussed above). In addition to #243 and #244, there are 3 more that went through FNC land. Are their results reported? Note the holes were labelled but not readable (anyone has better eyesight?). The 3 holes went right through the blue blob..but continued to the pink blob (a large one) which head NE to FNC property (at the heel of FNC boot).

There are quite many questions, but I hope that others can jump in with some answers/information. Speculation is just fine as well.
