Mining Supply Firms Hope to Land Ring of Fire Contracts

The MPP for Nipissing is making sure mining supply companies in his riding prosper from the Ring of Fire development in James Bay. Vic Fedeli is leading a one day charge with mining supply companies to the site on March 9th. He says the companies will pay their own way. Fedeli saw the tremendous opportunity for locals at the Ring of Fire when he visited the chromite site last summer. The deposit is expected to create thousands of jobs once companies start mining the chromite. The site also contains nickel, copper, platinum and palladium.
