Message: ever wonder how the shorts keep it up day after day?

It was previously suggested that your shares cannot be "lent out" for shorting purposes if you have a sell order in on them. For instance,if you put in a standing "sell" order for your NOT shares for say $2.50/share with an expiry date on the order 2 months from now they cannot be used for shorting.Of course you will get a "warning" that the asking price is too high above market so you click on "submit order accepting all warnings"and it should stand. When the order expires you can re-enter it and if the sp takes off and nears your asking price you must "modify" the order.Works for my account with BMO.

Kerry.
