Message: Re: What's Your Take on the North/South Route?

Crazy, I still think that rail is the best way to go and the East West route would be the most conducive to this. Follow the eskers that mother nature has provided. If I am not mistaken, the north south route involves some major bridge building which is very costly especially if it is to involve rail transport. This means of moving large volumes of ore is far superior to and cheaper than trucking. Running huge trucks on a road, that will not withstand the pounding year round, would NOT get my vote. I am surprised we don't get a consortium of CN, CP and government to get the east west rail line developed. There is money to be made over the years I would suspect. Have these companies been involved at all??? JMHO the deputy
