Perhaps the attitude and way of dealing stems from 200 years before, but pay heed to the real issue. Big Biz comes to their land and expects them to roll over and let them dig for pennies without fair trade. That is the issue. And then there are investors who tweak a few keys on their computers, buying some shares, and think that they suddenly have rights in the north. C'mon folks be honest. When dollar signs get in ones face very few of us see with any clarity....particularly when someone else potentially stands between us and those dollar signs. The FN want some big bucks and to keep their land as pristine as possible. What do we want....and whose intentions hold the greatest integrity? There are problem people and dubious characters in all factions of FN, Gov't, Investors and any other group you could imagine......so it wouldn't be fair to tar everyone with the same brush.
