Kahreema, Please set me straight. I was of the opinion that the north-south route involved a LOT of major bridge building. I have a limited idea but none the less first hand knowledge on what just small bridges cost to build. We are talking big money to bridge build. I thought the beauty of the east-west route was that it was, for there most part, following across the tops of eskers and with far less water to cross. Just an opinion but I would think that a lot of miles of either road or rail could be built for the cost of one bridge. Just what is the difference in kilometers each route, and what are the dollars to be saved by the north-south route? the deputy
