Message: In oil sands, a native millionaire sees ‘economic force’ for first nations

Oil sands are not a renewable resource, unlike trap lines. Once you use them they are gone for good, along with any jobs, leaving behind a polluted wasteland. The rich folks (i.e. the ones like Mr. Tuccaro who exploit their ancestral land for short-term economic gain) can just move away. Fortunately for us and the local First Nations, Noront's plan for their nickel mine is vastly different from an environmental standpoint.
