Federal and provincial governments will insist on a major part of the chromite from the Ring to be processed locally. They may even say that ALL of it has to be processed within Canada, but they will not interfere with who owns the resource and mines it and who is bought out in the process.

They will say nothing about Noront's nickel ore, so it is a waste of our hopes to ponder such governmental control possibilities.
