"2012 has seen turmoil in the TSX-V junior mining market and for many North American juniors it's now a "matter of life or death" according to the latest survey of the sector from PwC. The top 100 TSX-V juniors in 2012 have seen a 52% decrease in debt and equity financing compared with a year earlier, and their market capitalisation has declined 43%. It's thus been a pretty torrid time for junior miners as their financing lifeblood dwindles away."
Yes indeed and that is for 2012. The decline has been from 2008 for all and for many since 2006. Some are one tenth their former value.
The old addage is, buy when there is blood in the streets. Are Noront shareholders not bleeding and running for the hills? That is how wealth transfers from the poor to the wealthy.
These events are no accident. It has been going on for millenia.
We here need to be not only aware and recognize the signs but have the fortitude to withstand the storm.
Cheers.
