On the contrary,
I think it has been a blessing to have a change being made at CEO. Seems that we have all the leadership for the time being in Paul Semple.
My recent email with the home office was actually responded to. I had wondered if we would have a new CEO in before the time BIOSteel was to excersise their options, thus my blanket series of questions.
Email pasted below:
Olya,
I have been an investor in Noront since 2007. I would very much like an update on the search for the new CEO after Wes Hanson resigned. Do you have at this time any candidates that are being considered?
Is there a timeline that the board of directors is working within that would require the appointment of a CEO, say within the next 2-3 months?
I had spoken to Wes on several occasions in the past and appreciated his candid answers to my questions.
My last question is regarding the communication with the Federal government. Is it now Mr. Parrisoto's responsibility to address any issues that would arise with Queens Park or any ministirial members?
I do very much appreciate your responses and also to let you know that I am very pleased with the new website format, it is much improved. Good job there, Olya!
Warm regards,
xxxx xxxxx

Hi Mr. XXXXXX,
Thank you for your kind words I’m glad you like the new website. Although I usually don’t communicate via email I’m glad to answer your questions, however, please don’t hesitate to contact me directly should have any further questions.
To answer your questions in order, unfortunately I’m not privy to the candidates and yes there is a timeline, however, hiring a CEO does take some time.
Noront’s management have been proactive with the Federal and Provincial Government. This issues are normally addressed by Glenn Nolan, our VP of Aboriginal Affairs and Paul Semple, our Chief Operation Officer.
Thank you for your questions Mr. xxxxxx and I apologize for the delay in my response.
Kind regards,
Please note that our office has moved, see new address below

NOT much insight gained here, but I sure am of the opinion that we have a strong company "promoter" in Paul.... and we should be thankful for that....even at .29,, and that we don't have Parisotto at the front, even if he has the helm temporarily.
If NOT expects to lure in $400 million, we'll need a whole "swamp-load" of promotion and more Semples to do the job. Although the government could always come through with a "grand bargain" with FN, James Bay Authority and power concerns all in one fell swoop?? Will Clement be able to produce?
All the best to you and your shares,
