Message: we wait for the other part that will come out of the 35 billion.

Someone on this board had a question regarding "can Wynne announce ROF infrastructure money after the budget was verbalized.

When I read the below, it looks like those from Northern Ontario have been asking the same question. She responds with the 100 million was just a start... and more money coming for infrastructure projects.. she also mentions it will come out of the 35 billion that was announced in the budget

May 7th, 2013 3:27pm

Premier Kathleen Wynne says the $100 million set aside in the provincial budget towards infrastructure projects in rural and northern Ontario is not the only money going into infrastructure projects.

Wynne says $100 million towards rural infrastructure projects is a really good start, given that there are other dollars going into other kinds of infrastructure.
She adds, the Liberals hope to have this as a permanent fund.
Wynne also explains there will be a systematic approach for handing out money

Wynne says the rural and northern Ontario fund is part of $35 billion towards infrastructure, announced in the provincial budget.
