Noront has a market cap of 67million

Noront is not a one trick pony. They have unearthed high grade...just... about everything that resides under the ground.

They can pull the nickel out for a cost of MINUS 77 cents.

Something caught my eye last week.

I was reading about this company called Amercian Vanadium that has this Vanadium deposit in the USA. They finished their feasibility study in 2011 and are working towards permitting.

Last week they caught my eye because they struck this deal with this big German company called Gildemeister that happens to be the world's largest commercial producer of Vanadium redox flow through batteries. Do you remember back in 2011 Obama was very excited about the future of Vanadium redox flow through batteries?

Do you remember the discussions in 2011 that this was the cat's meow because NOW solar and wind power could have reliable , emission free backup power?

Back in 2011 I thought about the grades & meters of vanadium that Noront found by poking a few holes into the ground and thought about how big and important vanadium redox flow through batteries would be ...and I got very excited.

In the April 2009 NR, Joe Hamilton was quoted as saying the Noront discovery was extraordinary!

Also said was:"The new vanadium discovery marks the beginning of an important new chapter in the development of Noront's ring of fire multi-metals high-grade discovery group," Noront co-chief executives Joseph Hamilton and Paul Parisotto said in a statement"

So, what happened?

Wes later when pressed about the vanadium stated it was not really an important discovery and could sit on the back burner and be revisited years from now...and may be of economic then??

Vanadium reminds me in some ways of Chromite. The USA imports 100% of it.

80% of the current supply of Vanadium comes from bad ass countries. Kind of like the Chromium situation.

So back to last week.

I notice that this Big German company strikes a deal with American Vanadium.

The deal is this: The German company is the world's Largest commercial producer of these vanadium flow through batteries....and they want secure supply from a NON bad ass country like the USA.

The Amercian Vanadium company is working towards permitting. No open operating mine yet...But this Big German Hulkster wanted to be first in line....

Now what do they got over at American Vanadium...

About 7 years worth of Vanadium so far ...at grades less than HALF of what Noront has found by poking at a few holes at the Thunderbird Anomoly.

Long story short. Amercian Vanadium ..are a non producer that has found Vanadium with less than half the grades as compared to Noront's Vanadium. They are a one trick pony. Just Vanadium. They have a market cap of 30 million. Almost half of what Noront's sits at today.

For just Vanadium with less than half the grades.

Once infrastructure is announced....watch out..... Baosteel has already shown an interest in securing Chromite supply. Partners will not be hard to find.
