I think his resignation shows just how close the ROF is to break-through. Rae must see that there are some big shot politicians in here (Wynne, Clement, etc) and he's loving it.

He would not resign unless something was close.

If nothing was going on then he do both jobs at once.

Obviously there is a lot of progress going on here as it's keeping him busy.

Good news.

Maybe that's why Cliff's (pretended) to throw in the towel, because they saw that they would not simply be able to bowl over the FN now that the FN's have real representation.

Rae will push dialogue. He will call out publicly any of the politicians that are simply blowing smoke. That's what I love the most about Rae being involved. He will publicly shame any of the politicians involved that are simply kicking the can down the road or using this as a carrot for a future election campaign.

Rae will not allow this to be a perrenial topic, it will be pushed forward now.
