Even if Cliffs was not involved in being a partial owner of any chromite miner in the Ring, if you are a producing chromite miner in N. America, who are you going to sell your chromite to locally?
Cliffs and USofA, need local source of chromite and will stand in line to get it if only to be independent of over seas sources.

So no surprise of Cliffs involvement in any chromite resource that can be found on this continent.
And any company mining chromite on this continent should be glad to have Cliffs as a customer. So it is erronious to say that we do not need Cliffs. Also just as erronious is that Cliffs buying days are over. If they need to they can buy not only KWG but the remaining chromite deposits in the Ring.
Can any one tell me that Noront's chromite deposit will not be sold if the price is right? Noront will more fervently hold onto the nickel deposit due to higher profits per ton, chromite is available imho.

Only thing to beware of with regard to Cliffs is when and if they muscle in and take over your business.
