Job Creation In North Highlights MNR Agenda

The Minister of Natural Resources will be focusing on northern Ontario as the fall session at Queen's Park resumes starting today.
David Orazietti says in an interview with CKDR News that finding jobs for northerners is among his top priorities.
Orazietti outlines one key sector is the forestry industry.
Orazietti notes the forestry sector has seen a rebound and notes the government will continue to work with company's to help them modernize and get access to the crown fibre they need.
He notes moving the Ring of Fire forward is another priority.
Youth retention and creating jobs for young northerners is also high on the agenda according to Orazietti.
