Edgy you are right. It cannot be a service road but it has nothing to do with the fn. Just imagine or think of the friggin traffic and the size of the trucks that will be required to haul the ore. Big trucks with heavy loads like carpet bombing. The road would require 24 hour repair and be wide enough for two way for sure. Once the hauling begins look out. ....Before that the equipment required to build the mine..

BUT... having said that, lets keep in mind that the Coureur de bois didn't even have a trail. They blazed their own. Then there was a lane etc... my point is that I wouldn't kick a service road out of bed. That would be a good start!! and like the gang is saying hydo WOW. A big step forward.
