Every one is entitled to complain about a share price that is not performing on one's time. Even I have done so on occasion.
However timing is not according to how we want it. It took a lot of time and cash to find and prove resources. So it will also take time to obtain permissions and develop a plan of action, not only by Noront but the natives and government agencies. They do not work to our schedule.
Opinion is that, if backed up by rational facts. It is plain griping if excused by emotionalism and impatience and will tax the patience of any forum.
Yes we make assumption and speculation in the absence of facts or data. That should be acceptable.
Facts, and they Do speak for themselves:
1. Two resources, nickel and chromite, which can not be denied.
Nickel in particular will provide huge return on operational investment ( I said at least a few bucks for every buck spent).
2. I trust human nature ( i.e. greed ) that the nickel ore will be exploited fairly soon. Mine development time, Soon. ( Ten years is typical in normal times, this global economic catastrophy is not
normal so could take a bit longer. I am recently retired and expect to see profits before I part with this planet.)
3. Chromite is the only major source in N. America so with S. Africa having problems, this resource not only will be developed but has to happen in not too distant future, not decades.
4. Natives while wanting all they can get will have to compromise, otherwise they will end up as us with nothing. Again I trust their greed which will convince them to come around. They do not want to be
left empty handed when good fortune is within their grasp.
5. A power line is being put in to Pickle Lake. Extension of same is sure to follow, otherwise why build it? Pickle Lake alone is not enough justification, otherwise it would have happened long time ago.
6. Cliffs wanted a right of way for a road. KWG has a right of way for a rail way but lacks the cash to do it. Noront has a plan for an alternate road and awaits permissions and possible support financially.
All these point to progress even if taking much time to reach a comfortable compromise.
