proposed mining development in Northern Ontario's 'Ring of Fire' which is centred around McFaulds Lake, Kenora District. Noront Resources Ltd is the largest exploration claim holder in the McFaulds lake area with over 117,000 hectares of mineral claims. Noront Resources Ltd currently has six projects in various stages of development. These projects are as follows: 'Eagle's Nest' (magmatic sulphide), 'Blackbirds' (chromite), 'Eagle Two' (same compositions as Eagle's Nest but at much lower grades), 'AT-12 Anomaly' (nickel & copper sulphide), 'Thunderbird' (vanadium, titanium, & iron), and 'Triple J Gold Zone' (gold). |
