Europe needs free trade with Canada more than Canada does, imho.
They are in need of raw materials and especially energy in the form of oil.
Norway can not meet Europe's needs and Europe is too dependent on Russia for remainder.
While Canada needs only an alternative to the USA because US economy is not working on all cylinders and due to that link, Canada suffers also. Canadian busk is artificially depreciated so that US can afford to buy our raw materials and automotive products.
Quebec dairy farmers need to be sacrificed for the sake of the greater trade to whole country.
However I do not see much difference to the Ring and Noront with this additional free trade. It might make some difference IF some corpotation (Cliffs?) cornered the N. American chromite market so we might get some benefit for our chromite to Europe.
