Big subject to tackle you guys !!!!! When the Munk debates hosted Stephen Lewis

(Canadian do good king to the U,N.,with our dollars) some young lady

from a country in Africa literally begged him to stop giving handouts to her corrupt

African officials and had a number of good reasons why to stop. Reliance on the hand

out kings instead of self reliance not being the least of those reasons, coupled with all

the other ineffciences of any handout, government run, robin hood, idealistic system.

I agree, the handout of food may be a notch above cash, bottles of

hooch or bags to sniff gasoline from but deep down we know the solution will come

from the bottom up, not the top down, no matter who does the giving--do

good Christian, Muslim, Jew or bureaucrat.

Motive would be of the utmost in this situation and who knows what that is! We

trust that whoever it comes from, it is honourable and in the best interest of the

-recipient.
