I do not agree that one has anything to do with our Ring or a possible decision about financing.

I think you are trying to find excuse for Harper not making at least a cursory statement with Wynne. Don't be so kind.
Mandela's passing does not cause a closing of Harper's office. He had to have plenty of time for our Ring as with any other business.

Harper probably knows enough about the Ring and if he does not then he has someone on staff who does. Any how he should Know, no excuses.

As for not making a statement, most likely reason is that he does not want to share the news with a Liberal politician and he is waiting for an opportunity to have the lime light to himself.

And do not bet your bottom dollar that he will make a statement after returning.
I did say before that there is a slight chance that he could state just before or as part of a wishfull Christmas message. But am not betting much on that.

Spring or after turn over in an Ontario election is most likely when he will.
