We probably have enough palladium to make a mine also but I will not dwell on that.

I just want to say that platinum in diesel engine is probably used more because it is likely to be more resistant to high temperature environments. I believe diesels run hotter.

( Melting temp. Platinum 2000C, palladium about 1500C.)

Next, Europe does not need as much of our PMs as China. Notice the smog in some of China's greater cities.
