Thanks Fossil,but i do not get the last part why would they write the three years in if they let you apply in any future year? Is this a resent change?

paliman.......If tax payer had capital gains in three preceding years he or she would have

paid tax on those gains already so refund would be received.For future capital loss would sit

forever if no capital gains earned in future years. Couldn't say how long were those rules

on the books
