Here's a quote

"Noront Resources Ltd., the second-largest player after Cliffs, has completed studies required for an environmental assessment of its plan to develop the Eagle’s Nest deposit of high-grade nickel, copper, platinum and palladium estimated to be worth $700 million."

So...let's look at the Eagle's Nest Feasibility Study; the numbers were as follows:

Just nickel $2,356,911

By-products $1,174,652

Total $3,540,564 gross metal value

Note as well "A feasibility mine plan has been developed using the combined measured and indicated resources; no inferred resources have been used."

Once again, it appears the article might have been proofread by Cliffs as they tout the potential $60 Billion potential value...then suggest after Cliffs pulls out, we are left with 2nd best worth $700 million.

Regardless, the real meat and potatoes of the article comes near the very end, which I agree with wholeheartedly....

"Gravelle said the government is also waiting for environmental and revenue-sharing agreements with First Nations to be worked out, calling them key to proceeding.

“Unless the First Nations are able to support this it’s hard to imagine this project moving forward,” "
