off to the bush to fight waist high snow and finish tapping. felt like a turtle on its back yesterday when i fell. snowshoes go down 8" or so but when i put my arm out to get support to push up, my arm disappeared up to the shoulder. quite a sight trying to extricate myself .think i'd still be there had i been alone. so the rule must be, only fall where there's something to grab on to. ya right.
