Noront Resources has been at the table from the beginning and remains committed to the development for the benefit of Ontarian’s which will also see incredible opportunities for the people of the North. Noront Resources will no doubt play a pivotal role in advancing this project, but it won’t be truly successful without the full participation of Aboriginal people, communities and business. In addition, the municipal, provincial and federal governments have a role to play to enable the advancement of this once in a multi-generational opportunity.

The path to developing the Ring of Fire has seen its ups and downs. The dedication of the industry and Aboriginal people to find solutions together to create a shared economic prosperity remains steadfast. The hopes and dreams of many northerners for what can be Ontario’s economic driver remains top of mind. Come and learn what our leaders have to say about the future of Northern Ontario.
