I have a the globe & mail watch list that indicates when news comes out with regards to the companies. It shows, new releases in the last 24 hour period, what time the news came out, & it is generally related to that comp.
Noront doesn’t have this set up. We have to go digging to find news. Why would that be? I can think of two reasons, right away.
1. They want to fly under the radar, so they don’t get bought out low & can control when they are ready to run.
2. They want to fly under the radar, so they can sell it low, a little above #1
There was a news article I read the other day, that said everyone is upset that it isn’t moving ahead fast enough. What would be the public reaction if Noront’s financing comp. hold the stock where they want it to sell it, say for $2?
Could we do anything about it? Would the government allow it? I don’t see kWG in this same light, yet but chances are will be part of the deal….
News today on KWG drilling only 400m from Eagles Nest, indicates to me a takeover, JV to use the same underground mine to access all in the area.
Private sector investing, smells of greed…..
