Sum, you are right...we continually over-generalize and that detracts from the message because the facts are skewed by emotion. Having said that, I believe that the provincial election is a win-win for NOT shareholders and all those involved in the Ring of Fire. It matters not whether the left-leaning Libs or Neo-Cons win the election, both parties smell the money and jobs that development of the ROF will bring not only to Ontario but to Canada. Harper would like it to be a Conservative plum and will get financially involved if Who-dat(?) gets the provincial nod. Equally, Wynne has stated the province will go it alone if need be. She's as much as told Harper to either lead or get out of the way. Horvath? She knows what the ROF can do for the province but she will only play the roll of spoiler at best...and may well find herself facing a leadership convention after ignoring most of organized labour re: the budget. Face it, folks...we live in the land of smoke and mirrors, misinformation and pork-belly politics. Keep the faith....ultimately no government can pass on the Ring Of Fire.
