Message: Why would a "major" allow NOT to start preparing....

I suspect Dutchmen asked why allow Noront to build the mine and it's price apreciate instead of buy it back in D ecember when the price was under 20 cents per share. More so why wait now while the sp is going up, instead buy before the price gets too high.

I suspect most here are familiar with the mine life graph vs share price.
That means sp appreciates with discovery and drilling, slumps with permitting and financing and again appreciates with mine construction AND if successfull profits, with production.

Had it been me and I was in a position of having enough capital, or influence sizable capital, I would have offered to buy Noront in December when the sp was below 20 cents.
I would have tried an offer of a dollar a share.
This is because I think I know enough about Noront and it's prospects to act that way.

However many majors wait until the mine is constructed and there are published financial statements of profitability before they jump to buy.

I suspect that is the case with Noront, they are waiting for the ground work to be done before placing their bets.
