I agree with all the previous posters in finding the speaker on BNN (Patrick Ryan)...very "suspect."
He comes across as a "USA mining Analyst".
One would think that Patrick Ryan...would have some sort of formal education in the field.
Perhaps a geology degree...followed by MBA or CFA.
So...
I took at peek at his linked in account.

Mr. Ryan feels qualified to talk about the Ring of Fire ..and how spending 1 billion dollars is a waste yet....this info comes from a man whose education consists of:
Education
All I can say is "wow."
Seems to me a lifeguard was written a speech (paid by??) to spew.

When you take a look at this writer ...his name is Derek Leahy. You'd think this guy would have an environmental degree of sorts.
Answer is no. But he does have a history degree from Wilfrid Laurier University. (same thing??)
This guy Derek Leahy is not only part of desmog but also a member of the sierra club

Here's where it gets really funny...under partners of the sierra club ..you'll find the RBC foundation. We've seen for a VERY long time the team of RBC/TD...doing their damnest to keep the Noront price in check.
