Seems to me you have not read or remember my posts ( Glorieux's also?) from the last few years regarding value of Eagle's Nest alone.
It was conservatively 12 Billion $s. After operational costs and taxes about 8 billion should go into the company as clear profit.
( For every dollar spent 6 comes back, 1 for operations and about 5 of those remain for taxes and profit.)
The road was estimated a while back to cost us 650 million, about same as the mine. Should only we build the road ( very unlikely imho) we should collect tarrifs on it so some of that cost should come back over the years. ( I think there was an estimate by the company that the share of road costs to Noront are expected to be about 150 million?)
So I beg to differ re 'barely viable'?
