While the RR is an absolute hands down winner from a cost per tonne of chromite moved, it is a non starter unless the First Nations are onboard with mining in the ROF. Even if KWG wants to foot the TWO billion $ cost itself for the RR it needs First Nation approval and support. To get and keep the relevant First Nations aligned with the project an E-W road is going to be built first to serve the majority of communities in the area and NOT. It is not about the efficiency of moving ore but whether or not those deposits are ever going to get to the point where there will be ore to move . Then they can talk RR for the chromite. ...
